SCA Excellence in Leadership Award

Cpt Danny Harris received the Silver Caduceus Association's Excellence in Leadership Award.
On November 18, 2011 at the AMEDD Career Course Graduation Ceremony, Cpt Danny Harris received the Silver Caduceus Association's Excellence in Leadership Award. Colonel, (Ret) Thad Krupka presented the award to CPT Harris.

Vice President Jim Vinci and COL Donna S. Whittaker present the SCA Excellence in Leadership Award to CPT Thomas J. Dolce At the AMEDD Career Course Graduation Ceremony on May 18, 2011, the SCA Excellence in Leadership Award was presented to CPT Thomas J. Dolce. Our Vice President Jim Vinci and COL Donna S. Whittaker, Dean of the AMEDD Center and School, presented the award.

CPT Dolce hails from Bloomingdale, Illinois. He graduated from Marquette University and was commissioned through the ROTC Program. After the Basic Course, he completed flight school as a MEDEVAC pilot. In addition to assignments in Korea and at Fort Sam Houston, Fort Rucker and Fort Campbell, CPT Dolce was deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

It was a real pleasure for COL Dawn Smith to present the SCA leadership award at the Captain’s Career Course Graduation on March 11, 2011. The winner is CPT Lauren Hamlin, a 72D Environmental Science Officer.


The AMEDD Regimental Office makes a presentation of the Honorary Warrant Officer of the Regiment to CW4 (R) Rodney W. Leas.

Chief Warrant Officer Four (Retired) Rodney W. Leas distinguished himself through meritorious service, unparalleled achievement, and invaluable contributions to the Medical Service Corps (MSC), the Army Medical Department (AMEDD), the United States Army, and the Nation in duties of the utmost magnitude and responsibility from July 1973 to March 2005.
