Leas distinguished himself through meritorious service, unparalleled achievement, and invaluable contributions to the Medical Service Corps (MSC), the Army Medical Department (AMEDD), the United States Army, and the Nation in duties of the utmost magnitude and responsibility from July 1973 to March 2005.
